One Black Bear helps set world record

One Black Bear joined 1,198,993 UK downloaders to help Mozilla achieve the record of the most downloads of a piece of software in one day. Yay! We all managed to do it, so we now have a swanky certificate to show for it.

Download Day coincided with the official release of Firefox version 3 on 17th July and since then there has been 29,877,589 downloads of the browser worldwide.

From 18:16 UTC on June 17, 2008 to 18:16 UTC on June 18, 2008, 8,002,530 people downloaded Firefox 3 and are now enjoying a safer, smarter and better Web.
